Bottom Line! (click here)

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD;
he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

Proverbs 21:1 (NIV)

Bottom line? When you get God as a Father, you got it all! He can move anything and anybody any time He wants!

Even the heart of a so called King!

“Lord, teach me how to trust in Your awesome power, knowing You can do anything! Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”

Discover and believe! (click here)

What is possible? Anything that’s God’s will is possible!

When is it possible? When you discover and believe it that’s when.

When you discover that something is God’s will, God’s plan or His heart’s cry for you, then you can bet and believe it is by all means possible for you!

You have to believe it! So start discovering and then start believing!

23” ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”

Mark 9:23 (NIV)

“Lord, teach how to believe Your plan for me right into existence! Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”

Not heard, nor answered! (click here)

“Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the doom that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them but they have not heard, and I have called to them but they have not answered.’”

Jeremiah 35:17 (NKJV)

Wow how important is it for us slow down sometimes? How important is it to see if God is trying to get our attention?

God had spoken to them and they did not hear. God had called them and they did not answer. I’ve been there and that’s a place I never want to be again!

Is God trying to get your attention today? Are you listening? If not slow down a little and take some time to seek Him.

“Lord, teach me how to know when Your trying to get my attention. Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”

Bottom line? God said devote yourselves to prayer and He knows what He’s doing, so see you in prayer!

There is prayer and then there is prayer! (click here)

If we look back and review the old testament we see that crying out is powerful. Any time Israel cried out God moved and moved powerfully!

Even Jesus told us a story about a widow in Luke 18, who cried out day and night. And what happened? God showed up for her and all because she cried out!

Crying out is a different, hungry, desperate, no holding back type of prayer. And it’s a type of prayer God takes serious!

What’s holding you back from crying out? Want God to take your prayer serious? Then learn to cry out!

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous

and his ears are attentive to their cry;

Proverbs 34:15 (NIV)

“Lord, teach me how to cry out! Teach me how to take prayer as serious as You do! Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”

Short, but still powerful! (click here)

Pray about everything and if your in a jam and have to do something quick? Pray!  God already knows what’s going on, so pray!

That’s what Nehemiah did, he was questioned by the King and had to reply quickly. Back in those days you could lose your head at the command of a King.

But Nehemiah was wise enough to know where his help truly comes from and he prayed to his God! Listen under pressure your prayer may be short, but remember it’s still powerful!

4 The king said to me, “What is it you want?”
Then I prayed to the God of heaven, 5 and I answered the king,….

Nehemiah 2:4-5 (NIV)

“Lord, teach me to understand that Your all I need and to pray about everything no matter what! Amen.”

No matter what! (click here)

No matter what’s going on today. No matter what anyone else has said to you. No matter how you feel, cause promises from God are not based on our feelings! (Thank God!)

No Sir, promises from the Lord are based on Him and Him alone! He said it and we believe it! So no matter what has happen or what your up against today! God is faithful, to take care of you, watch over you and protect you from all evil today!

He said it so don’t worry about feeling it, just believe it!

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV)

“Lord, teach me to rest in Your promise of protection today! Amen.”

How to make a huge difference! (click here)

Do you want the spirit of the Lord to thrive within you? You’ll have to deny the flesh to do it, there is just no other way.  And it’s a daily, moment by moment process.

But if you keep at it, you’ll be walking in the spirit with just occasional moments in the flesh. And your prayer life will go through the roof! Plus you’ll be making an impact all over the place!

If someone is rude to you, try denying yourself and refuse to respond the old way. But respond the new way! You’ll need to read God’s word daily to do it. It’s not just about denying, you see you have to replace the deny part with an apply part. And the latter part is the word of God.

In essence your replacing your old self with God’s word. So it’s deny, get into the word more and then apply it!

Just think deny and apply, deny yourself and apply Him. Deny and apply! Walk like that and you’ll be making a huge difference in no time!

16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Galatians 5:16 (NIV)

“Lord, teach me how to deny myself so I can live like You! Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later“God Taught Me!”

Give Him an oppurtunity! (click here)

The Lord is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him.

Lamentations 3:25 (NLT)

Any quick study of the word will reveal one thing, God is sure good to those who depend on Him! All day every day God responds to those who rely on Him. I can’t fully explain it but I know it to be true, there is just something that grabs the heart of God when we depend on Him.

It takes practice of course, were always tending to want to take matters into our own hands. It’s seems natural, but it’s not powerful! No, rely of God and when you do your actually giving Him an opportunity to be good to you!

OK so let’s think what are we both trying to do apart from Him right now? Let’s stop and simply depend on Him!

“Lord, teach me how to depend on You as a child depends on a parent. Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”

Stronger than strong! (click here)

You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

Nehemiah 9:6 (NIV)

He alone is God! Yes He made the heavens, even the highest of the high! Every single little star, the earth and every single thing that is on it! And He gives life to everything! Life comes from God, the multitudes in heaven know it, see it and as a result they worship! Wow! I think we should join them!

How? Join them in worship by putting all your worries, fears and anxieties where they belong today. In a God who’s stronger than strong! And who truly longs to take care of you!

“Lord, teach me to allow You to take care of me, as I learn to put all my fears and worries on Your shoulders! Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
