Many have predicted the end, even to the day and year that our world would come to a close. Yes there are folks our there like that, it’s just a shame they don’t study the scriptures! Sure the bible tells us there will be an end someday, but it’s more like a beginning!
You see those who know Jesus Christ will live with Him forever someday, as it says in 1st Thessalonians 4:17. So that’s not really an end. However that day is not known as some have predicted. I don’t know when and as a matter of fact not even the angels know when! Listen only the Father knows.
How do I know that? Jesus was asked that same question one day and gave this reply:
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Matthew 24:36 (NIV)
“Lord, I don’t know when the end will come or when my days will be done. But help me not to waste any time and teach me to live for You as strong as I can! Amen.”
Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
