I can remember being in some pretty scary places where you can almost feel the presence of evil! I went to a law enforcement school that focused on satanic cults and when looking at some of the displays you could just feel the wickedness.
Know what’s even scarier? being in that presence all the time and not even knowing it! Did you know that the bible says where self seeking and envy exist, confusion and every evil thing are there as well?
Self seeking is at the core of demonic activity, that’s where self seeking comes from. It’s satanic, but camouflaged well. Most folks don’t equate self seeking with demonic activity, but the bible does!
Be on your guard against envy and self seeking attitudes that pop up in your mind, know right away where there coming from and refuse to give in! Remember you don’t have to walk through hell to be in the presence of evil, just give in to those desires and evil will find you!
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
James 3:13-16 (NKJV)
“Lord, teach me how not to be self seeking. Show me how wicked it truly is. Amen.”
Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
