God doesn’t want us to be in the dark about our eternal future, He wants us to know that if we receive His payment for our sins that we do in fact have eternal life. So many out there today are not quite sure if they do or if they don’t.
God says if we believed we have sinned and we all have, then He recommends we accept His way out, Jesus Christ! Jesus was here so you can go there! Jesus was the only one to remain sinless under intense temptation from Satan and then after that He was beaten, crucified and buried.
The requirement for you and I to be forgiven is death. Yes something has to die and it has to be sinless.
If you believe that then accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, ask to be forgiven based on what Jesus has done and not on any good works or merit that you think you may have.
After accepting Jesus, God’s only payment for sin, you can now know you have eternal life! No more guessing!
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 (NIV)
“Lord, change my heart and adopt me as your very own. Jesus I truly believe You died for me and ask that today that You forgive me and become me very own Lord and Savior! Amen.”
Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
