Don’t worry about me! (click here)

I knew of a little seven year old boy who fought the good fight against cancer and lost or did he really win?  When I first heard the news I was crushed, until I heard his courageous last words that blessed my soul!

On the night my little buddy passed he told his parents not to worry, that he was going to be fine.  Then he actually quoted this verse to them,

However, as it is written:
“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has truly prepared for those who love him”  1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)

At seven years old he comforted his family, even at that age he knew he loved the Lord, he knew this verse and believed it!  He basically said don’t worry about me, just believe God’s word and know I’ll be fine!

The same holds true for us, if we love the Lord we really don’t have anything to worry about, not even death! Think about this, it has never been conceived, understood, heard or seen what God has truly prepared for those that love Him!

“Lord, teach me how to grow in love with You and not worry about anything else!  Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
