The map to make Him smile! (click here)

Some how my six year old and I where talking about jobs yesterday.  She said, “Dad I don’t have a job?”  I told her, “Your job is make God smile.” Then of course she started thinking about what I said and asked,  ”How do I do that?”

I told her to do basically whatever God says, but then she asked, “How do I do that?” She wasn’t letting me off the hook!  So I said, “We find that out by looking into the bible and then remembering what God said to do, that’s why memorizing verses is so important.”

“Oh like a map!”  She said “Yup like a map.” I told her as I was driving and felt like God just reminded me of how important it is to really know His word, the map to make Him smile!

¹⁰and find out what pleases the Lord.  Ephesians 5:10 (NIV)

“Lord, teach to find out what pleases You and help me to make You smile!  Amen.”

Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
