5 Then, teaching them more about prayer, he used this story:“Suppose you went to a friend’s house at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You say to him,
6 ‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing for him to eat.’
7 And suppose he calls out from his bedroom, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is locked for the night, and my family and I are all in bed. I can’t help you.’
8 But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.

There nothing more powerful than a persistent prayer warrior or Jesus wouldn’t have taught us that story! That guy didn’t get out of bed because they were friends. No sir, he got out of bed because his friend didn’t give up or give in!
That brother overcame resistance with some serious shameless persistence!
“Lord, teach me how to be powerfully persistent in my prayer life! Amen.”
Ask God to teach you and you’ll always be able to say later, “God Taught Me!”
so im thinkin sunday i should just give up on my marraige no sign my mikes to work anything out so i say i tired from prayin hopein etc. & i open this book from max lucado & to a page called discourament & out of no where i start reading it says this women was about to file for divorce shes tellin her friend over coffee & she says cnt u try 1 more x she said been there done that & it compares the storey of peter fishin all night catchin nothing discouraged beyond & jesus says cast in the net one more time peter roles his eyes like i already look like aloser comin in to shore no fish empty net but obeys jesus anyway & look persitance & obedience i think they go hand & hand sure gave me hope
