What do think would be your most powerful weapon? Is it your prayer life? Woe prayer is powerful no argument there! Is it wisdom? Yes wisdom is supreme and very powerful!

But I am talking about something that blows everything else out the water big time! Something that takes you further than anything else ever could! Think about it, what gets God’s attention more than anything else?

It’s a pure heart! That’s your most powerful weapon my friend! Put a pure heart up against anything else in the world and it’ll win every time! You may not be the best athlete, the best looking, the best speller, the smartest person on your block or whatever!

You may even be restricted, in a wheel chair or you may be the least in your family. But if you have a pure heart towards God you can literally change the world!

God is good to those with pure heart, meaning His favor, His blessing, His everything is on those who have a pure heart!

¹Surely God is good to Israel,
To those who are pure in heart!

Psalm 73:1 (NASB)

So how do we get one? We ask God to develop one in us! It’s a wise thing to ask God to create a pure heart in us and very powerful!

Only God can calm your storms! When does He do it? When we cry out!

If you could have one thing that would bless your socks off what would it be? I’d have to say it would be a pure heart. Why?

Well God pays attention to a lot of things, but a pure heart gets and keeps God’s attention like nothing else! You want to be blessed? Ask God to develop a pure and steadfast heart within you, then your socks will be blessed off for sure!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

What is your greatest asset? Is it your knowledge? Could it be your bank account? Maybe it’s the friends you have? I guess it depends on who you ask.

If you ask God He’ll tell you that your greatest asset is your heart and how it beats for Him! You could have absolutely nothing, but have a heart that’s tender towards God and you got it all!

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him….

2nd Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)

God will show Himself strong for one type of person! On behalf of those whose heart is loyal, whose heart beats towards Him!

“Lord, teach me how to develop a heart like that! One that You haven’t seen in years! Amen.”

Thanks again! Thanks for always taking care of me! Thanks for never giving up on me! Thanks Dad!

What if we really walked around like that, do you think anything would upset us? And can you just begin to see how powerful thankfulness really is?

Give it a try, thank God for everything under the sun and for the Son as well! I am sure you’ll put a smile on His face today!

Jairus was given some bad news, that his little daughter was now dead. But Jesus ignored what they said to Jairus and told him two things:

Don’t be afraid and just believe!

Oh how often I am afraid instead of believing! Maybe your there too? Maybe your afraid right now? If so don’t be, just believe!

“Lord, teach me not to be afraid of anything knowing Your always with me! Amen.”

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

Mark 8:38 (NIV)

Were talking Jesus, the angels, the Father’s glory, a sinful and adulterous generation. Then were talking Jesus Himself being ashamed of folks, woe.

I am sure we all been there, but we don’t have to stay there. Let’s read that verse again and then let’s ask Him to simply teach us how not to be ashamed.

“Lord, forgive me if I have been ashamed of You. Teach me how not to be that way in both word and deed. Amen.”

You got to be famous for something, maybe it’s something simple like your love for ice cream or your love for a certain sport.

What’s God famous for? When you really look at the scripture you could come up with a lot God is famous for. But if you look closely you’ll see God is definitely famous for making a way!

In the day of my trouble I will call to you,
for you will answer me.

Psalm 86:7 (NIV)

Yup if anybody can make a way out of no way, it’s got to be God! Are you facing a challenge today? Let God make a way to see you through, hey that’s what He’s famous for!
